Adaptogenic Salted Caramel Cacao Elixir

Our adaptogenic salted caramel cacao was developed with the intention of creating a rejuvenate tonic. Ashwagandha has traditionally been used in ayurvedic medicine to help relieve tiredness, help the body adapt to stress and support the nervous system. It is filling enough to be enjoyed as a snack, and is perfect as an afternoon pick-me-up treat. This recipe can even be served as a nourishing dessert, as it is deliciously sweet, creamy and decadent.

Adaptogenic Salted Caramel Cacao Elixir (serves 2)

1 cup water 1 cup milk (we like oat, coconut or soy for this recipe)

2 soft dates, pitted

2 tsp almond butter

1 tsp mesquite powder

1 tsp Evolution Botanicals Ashwagandha

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp sea salt

Optional: 1/4 tsp vanilla bean powder or extract


1. Add all ingredients to a high speed blender and blend until everything is well combined.

2. Pour into a pot and gently heat up.

3. Serve hot. If desired, stir in a teaspoon(s) of raw honey, maple syrup or your preferred sweetener to sweeten.
