Our adaptogenic salted caramel cacao was developed with the intention of supporting your immunity, nourish your adrenals and give you a gentle boost during the day. It is filling enough to be enjoyed as a snack, and is perfect as an afternoon pick-me-up treat. This recipe can even be served as a nourishing dessert, as it is deliciously sweet, creamy and decadent.
Adaptogenic Salted Caramel Cacao Elixir (serves 2)
1 cup water 1 cup milk (we like oat, coconut or soy for this recipe)
2 soft dates, pitted
2 tsp almond butter
1 tsp mesquite powder
1 tsp Evolution Botanicals Ashwagandha
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp sea salt
Optional: 1/4 tsp vanilla bean powder or extract
1. Add all ingredients to a high speed blender and blend until everything is well combined.
2. Pour into a pot and gently heat up.
3. Serve hot. If desired, stir in a teaspoon(s) of raw honey, maple syrup or your preferred sweetener to sweeten.
